Day 8 Saturday March 19 Chao Italia!! I will miss you

By 8:30 we had to be ready to go to the Florence train station to head to Pisa when we got to Pisa we checked in and quickly left to go see the leaning tower of Pisa it was a quick 10-15 minutes but was amazing how beautiful it was. We were all very tired and ready to just sit in the plane. We all took the plane to London and there in London some went with Larry and some went with Dr. Londino. I stayed with Dr. Londino and almost got left by the airplane because Aura, Jojo and I decided to eat they took forever with our food and literally almost got left. Thanks to Dr. Londino who was telling them to wait. OMG we were so scared though I think Dr. Londino wanted to kill us. We joke about it now but before we were really scared, on the bright side the food was amazing(if that counts for anything). The trip going back home seemed faster then when we were going to Italy. When we got to Newark we gotour lauggage and everyone went there own way, it was sad to say but our trip was over. But now we have new friends where we were once complete strangers and now we are all friends and I believe we will always have a special connection because we experienced an experience that no one will ever experience it like we did because we did it together as a whole. We are the Wolfpac. “ehh ehh (Italian gesture)

Day 7 Friday March 18 Bummer my last full day here :(

Happy Independence Day Frenzie! As usual we woke up early and were and the ISA office by 10 am for our meeting we were able to use the internet etc. Because the internet at the hotel was horrible. this day was our last full day in Italy. Our trip was coming to an end but we still had many more thins to see and do. That day we had another guided tour to the Medici Tombs, New Sacristy San Lorenzo, Duomo, and the Baptistery. We got our long tour cut because everyone was so exhausted we went to the best part which was Basilica Di Santa Maria del Fiore located in Piaza del Duomo. One of Italias largest churches. We then went up to the top of the church which was not easy because it took 486 step to get there and unfortunately because it was old there was no elevator. When we finally reached the top all those steps were worth it the view was amazing the view took my breath away. Like I keep saying all the pictures you can take but its not as beautiful as actually living the experience. After a while the class decided to go back down and we were able to do as we pleased. I stayed up there for like 45 more minutes with my BFF Aura and Javier, we did not want to leave this amazing view so quickly. So we stayed taking it all in looking and appreciating Florence and all of Florence because we can actually see everything. We also stayed up there fooling around and taking pictures. After that we stopped at the hotel to get a coupe more people from our group to go shopping. We walked around and bought some stuff I was the best bargain shopper ever and enjoyed talking down prices that day however nobody wanted to bargain they were mean I think because it was friday. We then went back home and got ready for our farewell dinner. We had beans with sausage and gelato for dessert. Then me and Aura decided to walk around town and enjoy our last day around town we bought some wine and chocolate, sat down by the carousal and talked enjoying the Italian atmosphere. We thought to ourselves every night going out to clubs isn't enjoying the night we can go to a club in the US for that lets just chill out for a bit around town. Then later most of the group also stayed in and Derek bought us some wine and we just drank wine talked and packed our bags. It was a nice relaxing night and good day to end our last full night in Italia.

Day 6 Thursday March 17 My Favorite Day ever!! Roma here I come!!

This day we decided to go to Rome instead of Venice because the had sold out tickets for the fast train and it was flooded. It did not bother me that we went to Rome because I wanted to go to both Roma and Venice. We woke up very early to catch the train our train left at 7:30. Ed almost got left by us but he managed to catch up. We went on the train it was beautiful I felt like i was in first class and really I was not but thats how beautiful it was, the scenery outside was amazing as well. After about 2 hours or so we reached our destination Roma! There our professors told up that we can go with them our we can do our own thing. We chose to do our own thing because we wanted to go to Vatican City, we had been told if we don't go there first we wont make it to see it because the line is about 2 hours so we took that chance. We went to Vatican City and ate some delicious Italian food. After that thank god for the rain it scared the tourist away but not us, we got to the church and did not have to make any line once so ever. It was amazing. After that we walked out the church and I spent a ridiculous amount of money on rosary beads. We then went to the fountain of Trevi it was beautiful and huge, we went to the spanish steps, and then The Roman Colosseum. I left Rome mesmerized by how beautiful it was even though it was raining ridiculously that day, I had never seen such beautiful monuments and culture all together. It was history that I had learned about and seen pictures of but actually seeing it right there before me was truly an amazing opportunity and I was lucky enough to experience it. After we got back from Roma we were exhausted but still went out we didn't have to wake up early so took advantage of that fact and went to club twice. Once we got there we walked right into VIP no line etc and got a bottle of champaign popped for us it was nice. Even though I went in sneakers, Aura in flip flops and Nicole as well in sneakers we had a blast I felt weird though because i was in sneakers but we had no other choice our other shoes were soaked and our feet were blistered and in pain from walking around Rome in wet shoes for hours.

Day 5 Wednesday March 16

This day we woke up at and had breakfast around 9-9:30 we left around 10 to walk around and shop some more then we had our second guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery which was also a beautiful tour filled with a lot of culture and history. Then we stayed in because we were so tired at night the boys went out again but we were tired. We tried to see the fireworks we heard the fireworks were best seen on Ponte vecchio but we waited waited and kept waiting. When the fireworks finally started and hour of waiting we couldn't even see the fireworks. We all laughed but were really kinda upset. we all wrote our names on the bridge though and we said that in years we will go back and reminisce on our friendship and experience when we were all young.

We all wake up super early and kinda late we are all running around trying to get ready because they had told us if you are not ready we will leave you. Aura, Jojo and I were in charge of waking everyone up. And sure enough the boys Andres and Oscar did not wake up. So they missed out on a super exciting day. We were going on a trip that took us to San Gimignano, Sienna, and then wine tasting at Sant’Appiano it was a beautiful place where you can actually stay at they have 8 apartment with a underground pool. That was one of my favorite when we all went wine tasting and I am not going to lie I was a bit tipsy at the end but not a tipsy as Dr. Mirrer who’s face was kinda red (as she carried her wine bottle like a baby and laughed at everything) I bought a wine class and a bottle of wine, I was a bit afraid because Dr. Londino cracked her wine glass as soon as she walked into the bus so the whole time I was super cautious because I realized how delicate the wine glass was. Overall it was an amazing day to go and explore Tuscany. That night we decided to go out because we did not have to wake up so early we went to club Twice were we had a blast we were in VIP until the owner tried telling us we had to buy a bottle if we wanted to stay in VIP so Andres started to talk to him and that ended up becoming his friend we got a even better VIP section and partied, danced etc. We had a very fun night interesting night except for the fact that I almost got fungus because it was raining and the streets were full of puddles and I had little flats on which got soaked so I washed my feet immediately after walking into the club.

The third day of our trip the second day in Italy and Wow it’s actually hitting me that Im in Italy I did not just wake up from a dream I just woke up in Italy! We woke up and had our complementary breakfast at the hotel around 10 the food was ok I thought it was going to be Italian breakfast not American breakfast but it was good. Sabrina that day took us around town so we can go to the banks and take Euros out and start to learn our way around. She pointed out to us nice restaurants, gelato spots, pizzerias, farmacia (pharmacy for those who did not learn Italian) She then left us walk around wherever we wanted . We had to meet at the ISA office at 3pm where we went to our guided walking tour of Florence: Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Signoria, Medici Palace our tour lasted about 2 1/2 hours. It was amazing my favorite from that day was Ponte Vecchio is was just such a nice bridge the only bridge with actual building and shops on it.  After that we went to the leather market thats when all my real shopping started to happen. We went back to our hotel rooms we were all hanging out in room 22 mine and Jojo's room. Later we went out for dinner to this very nice restaurant of course we were your typical load American's. It started to pour so we stayed there talking and having fun drinks were being ordered we started having a bunch of fun. Then the boys thought of buying a bottle because it was still raining very hard. The owner from the restaurant told us if we wanted after to go to his club he has and he will all get a free shot and told me I would get six. We went out that night because the night before we didn't but that night wasn't to good I learned Mondays were not good days to go clubbing. We went to the restaurant owners club and took one for the team when I had to go take a shot with him if we wanted free drinks so I was a good sport and did.  But in all the restaurant was better then his club no one was at his club that was a super fun time at the restaurant however. We had a good night but went home after but Oscar and Andres did not they went to another club not to mention that we had to wake up super early for the next day we were leaving our hotel by 7:30 am that was 2:30 am in the US.
