Jack Daniel = Trouble

The third day of our trip the second day in Italy and Wow it’s actually hitting me that Im in Italy I did not just wake up from a dream I just woke up in Italy! We woke up and had our complementary breakfast at the hotel around 10 the food was ok I thought it was going to be Italian breakfast not American breakfast but it was good. Sabrina that day took us around town so we can go to the banks and take Euros out and start to learn our way around. She pointed out to us nice restaurants, gelato spots, pizzerias, farmacia (pharmacy for those who did not learn Italian) She then left us walk around wherever we wanted . We had to meet at the ISA office at 3pm where we went to our guided walking tour of Florence: Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Signoria, Medici Palace our tour lasted about 2 1/2 hours. It was amazing my favorite from that day was Ponte Vecchio is was just such a nice bridge the only bridge with actual building and shops on it.  After that we went to the leather market thats when all my real shopping started to happen. We went back to our hotel rooms we were all hanging out in room 22 mine and Jojo's room. Later we went out for dinner to this very nice restaurant of course we were your typical load American's. It started to pour so we stayed there talking and having fun drinks were being ordered we started having a bunch of fun. Then the boys thought of buying a bottle because it was still raining very hard. The owner from the restaurant told us if we wanted after to go to his club he has and he will all get a free shot and told me I would get six. We went out that night because the night before we didn't but that night wasn't to good I learned Mondays were not good days to go clubbing. We went to the restaurant owners club and took one for the team when I had to go take a shot with him if we wanted free drinks so I was a good sport and did.  But in all the restaurant was better then his club no one was at his club that was a super fun time at the restaurant however. We had a good night but went home after but Oscar and Andres did not they went to another club not to mention that we had to wake up super early for the next day we were leaving our hotel by 7:30 am that was 2:30 am in the US.

Day 2 Sunday March 13 Finally we are here!!

When we got to Hotel La Residenzia after check in, and noticing the very tiny old fashion elevator (but cute) we stayed in for a bit got situated checked out everyones rooms. My room 22 was the best room out of everyones JoJo and I were roomies!! (Aura too!!!)  At 4pm we went and walked to the ISA office for our orientation meeting where we met with the other ISA staff. They told us all about Florence and what to do and what not to do. After that we went back to the hotel to get ready for our Welcome dinner. We had pizza with either wine or soda, our dessert was delicious tiramisu. Everyone talked and laughed we all started to get along perfect I knew that we were going to have an amazing time because there was not one person who I did not like.

Day 1 Saturday March 12-13 Traveling ugggghhh Are We There Yet?

     Today was like a mission at the beginning because we had to do so much traveling leaving from Newark to London which was a 6 hr flight then staying at the airport in London and having breakfast with the crew. After that it was time to board another airplane for 2 hours to go to Pisa when we finally got to Pisa our journey was not over we had to board a train that was going to take us to Florence which took 1 hour. the we got to florence and were greeted by the ISA crew to take us to our beautiful hotel  called, Hotel La Residenza. we go situated in and quickly left again for our orientation then back to our rooms and out for dinner. We had a delicious pizza and our desert was even better Tiramisu. Then when we all stuffed our selves everyone got sleepy and we headed out to our hotel. Everyone stayed in JoJo and I room to hang out there until we called it a night. We had to get rest for all the site seeing we will be doing tomorrow.
